why is my dog doing this?
we got him on 27th jan from jerry greens rescue centre, hes not biting our clothes or anything, but he has his own towel for his paws and that after a walk, and he started off just like, not biting, but “sucking” my bed sheets. like putting his mouth around it and spreading saliva everywhere, he wont let go either, i was told to squeeze his jaws and he’ll let go,he just went mad after that…
and lately he’s been sucking his towel. its not a baby sucking a bottle or anything, its different but thats the only way i can word it…
how can i stop him doing it and why is he doing it?
he was fine for the first week after we got him.
hes 2 years old, im not sure but i think all his teeth are in..:)
How old is he? Is it possible he’s teething? Because mine done that when we got them, you just have to wait for them to grow out of it. Although if they start chewing furniture and damaging etc then you can get this spray that is totally harmless but doesn’t taste very nice, like the stuff that we can get to dip our fingernails in to stop us biting them. and you just spray it on the things they tend to chew on.
